Participant Prequalifications
All participants in the Foundations of Project Management Course must:
• Be actively engaged in the electrical industry 
• Have a minimum of three years’ experience as a Foreman or Lead electrician.
• Currently be working as a Project Manager (or in training to become a Project Manager), a Project Engineer, an Estimator, a Contract Administrator, or other role related to managing projects.
• Have access to a laptop computer or similar device with internet connectivity.
• Have minimum proficiency with the following Microsoft Office products:
o Outlook                           o Teams                               o Excel
o Word                               o PowerPoint

Course Overview
Welcome to Foundations of Project Management for the Electrical Trade. This course is presented in six sessions over three consecutive days. Each session consists of 3.5 hours of instruction covering the four major divisions of the Project Life Cycle:
• Project Acquisition and Initiation
• Project Planning
• Project Execution
• Project Completion and Close-out
